I provide professional historical and genealogical research services for businesses, legal professionals, authors, publishers, media organisations, heritage bodies, and private clients. My services include probate and heir tracing, beneficiary identification, next-of-kin research, family reconstruction, family tree verification, and missing beneficiary searches. I also undertake historical research for solicitors requiring probate support, heir identification, and documentary evidence.
In addition, I offer property and land research, investigating historical ownership, occupancy, land records, and title-related matters. Archive and record research is available for individuals and organisations requiring access to repositories and collections that they are unable to visit in person. I provide research and consultancy services for authors, publishers, museums, heritage organisations, television productions, documentary makers, journalists, magazines, podcasters, and other media projects, including fact-checking, archival research, historical context, and specialist genealogical support.
My specialist areas include tracing individuals and family connections, probate research, and workhouse and Poor Law history. I undertake research into workhouse, settlement, bastardy, parish, and other records relating to poverty and welfare, providing detailed historical insight and evidence-based analysis. I also offer professional historical writing services, producing reports, articles, narratives, and other written content based on original research.
